The Missionary Cenacle Family Council has created a committee to prepare for the hundredth anniversary of the Cenacle Family in 2009. The MCF Centennial Committee (MCF100) has chosen the theme:
"One hundred years - Glorifying the Triune God"
We have two overall goals in all of our Centennial activities:
• To remember and celebrate our past and present
• To spread the fire of our charism into the future.
Toward these goals, we are calling for a year of prayer for the entire Missionary Cenacle Family.
Prayer cards are being distributed for this purpose.
We are asking all members to regularly pray this prayer, beginning in April.
Our Prayer for the Missionary Cenacle Family:
Most Holy and Blessed Trinity, we glorify your name for calling us to be
Missionary Cenacle Family in the Church.
The fire of your Spirit called forth and impelled our earliest members.
We beg for that fire now as we face our future.
Grant us understanding and knowledge to recognize new challenges.
Strengthen us in wisdom and counsel as we discern our response to these challenges.
Fill us with fortitude to face our challenges.
Renew in us your gifts of piety and holy fear as we commit ourselves anew to your mission.
In faith and trust, we place ourselves and our future into your loving hands.
Glory be to you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen
Santísima y Beatísima Trinidad, te bendecimos y te glorificamos
por habernos llamado ser la Familia del Cenáculo Misionero para la Iglesia.
El fuego de tu Espíritu llamó e impulsó a nuestros miembros pioneros.
Suplicamos este mismo fuego ahora para enfrentar a nuestro futuro.
Concédenos entendimiento y conocimiento para reconocer los nuevos retos.
Fortalece en nosotros sabiduría y consejo para discernir mejor nuestra respuesta a esos retos.
Llénanos con fortaleza para enfrentar estos retos.
Renueve en nosotros los dones de piedad y temor de Dios
